SYSCARDIO - intelligent SYStem for asssisted medical diagnosis for CARDIOvascular diseases: This project was developed in collaboration with Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México (UNAM) and Hospital 20 de Noviembre funded by the Newton Fund Institutional Links programme (part of the British Council) and Secretaría de Tecnología e Innovación (SECTEI), to develop a software for early detection of pulmonary hypertension. DATA EXTRACTION TOOL (DET) FOR P&ID DIGITISATION (PHASE 1): This tool was developed in collaboration with DNV GL to understand how to digitise Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) based on computer vision and heuristics. Click here for a video demo of the tool.


"CIRCUITS DEV" ONLINE TOOL FOR P&ID AND SD DIGITISATION (PHASE 1): This tool was developed in collaboration with DNV GL to showcase our capabilities to digitise P&ID and Sensors Diagrams (SD). Click here for a video demo of the tool.


DATA EXTRACTION TOOL FOR P&ID DIGITISATION (PHASE 2): This tool was developed in collaboration with DNV GL to continue showcasing our capabilities to digitise P&IDs in reduced time and with minimal user interaction based on deep learning techniques. NETVIS: This tool was developed by Mr. Ikenna Njoku as his MSc dissertation project to convert the digitised P&ID information into an interactive drawing which identifies areas, sections and compositions. Click here for a video demo of the tool.

NETLIST2CAD: This tool was developed by Mr. Bartlomiej Chibowski (MSc student, RGU) to convert the digitised P&ID information into a functional Computer Aided Design (CAD) model. Click here for a video demo of the tool.


Corrosion segment mark-up in P&IDs: This tool was developed by Mr. Luis Toral Quijas in collaboration with Archimech LtD to showcase our capabilities to mark-up corrosion sections based on automatically locating pipe specs and inspection points. Click here for a video demo of the tool.


Data Analytics for Health (LiberEat): This dashboard was developed by Mr. Luis Ledezma Molina in collaboration with LiberEat to perform data analytics in their anonymised data. Click here for a video demo of the tool.



Deep learning for architectural asset digitisation: This project, developed by Ms. Laura Jamieson, with Prof Eyad Elyan as principal supervisor and in partnership with Trova AI, is aimed at digitising drawings in the architectural domain. Click here for a video demo of the tool.





Navigation, mapping and communication using computer vision on robotic platforms: This project, developed by Daniela Magallan Rodriguez, Areli Rodriguez Tirado and Jorge Martínez Aguilar, with Prof Edgar López Caudana and David Balderas as co-supervisors from Tec de Monterrey (Mexico City), is aimed at testing communication and navigation of NAO robots.
